FIGHTER ENQUIRY TERMS
Version 1.0 · Effective 26 October 2026
These terms explain how Jaycorp Ltd (C98717), acting for MTGP Malta, handles your expression of interest and proposed match discussions. Applying does not confirm a bout or replace a separate fighter participation agreement.
Matching stages at a glance
- General search: we first look for opponents using general bout requirements only.
- Specific proposal: before identifiable details go to a named gym, we show you the gym, countries and exact information and ask for your separate approval.
- Checks: recipient and transfer checks happen before any release; identity and sporting checks happen before a bout is confirmed.
Controlled matchmaking and disclosure
- Initial search. Jaycorp Ltd (C98717), acting for MTGP Malta, will first seek potential opponents using general bout requirements, such as discipline, weight category, broad experience level, age category and availability. Initial search material will omit your name, photograph, contact details, gym, exact fight record and other details that could reasonably identify you. Removing your name or substituting a reference number is not, by itself, enough. If a proposed summary could identify you, we will handle it under the disclosure process below before sharing it.
- Specific proposal. Once there is serious interest, we will tell you which gym would receive information, its country and any other intended access countries, the proposed match, the precise information to be disclosed and the purpose. We will request your separate approval for that disclosure before it occurs. A material change to the recipient, countries, purpose or approved information requires a new approval. Silence and acceptance of general terms are not approval of a specific disclosure.
- Recipient and transfer checks. Approval alone does not authorise a transfer. Before release we will verify the recipient and complete the applicable processing and international-transfer checks, with any required binding safeguards in place. We will require the receiving gym to use the information only for the identified assessment, restrict access and onward sharing, protect it, cooperate on rights and incidents, and follow an agreed retention/deletion arrangement. We will not release the information if the required protection cannot be achieved.
- Limited disclosure and verification. The standard opponent-gym disclosure is limited to your name, age and relevant sporting experience needed to assess the proposed match, as shown to you for approval. It excludes your full application, photograph, contact details and medical documents. Medical clearance and other sensitive processing require a separate process. Identity and accurate sporting information must be checked before final bout confirmation; preliminary interest or disclosure approval does not confirm a bout, sporting eligibility, payment or participation contract.
- Choice and changes. You may decline a proposed disclosure or cancel your approval before release. If necessary information cannot be shared, that particular match may not proceed; this does not automatically remove you from consideration for other opportunities. After release, we cannot undo the fact that the recipient has seen information, but your applicable data-protection rights continue. Contact calvin@mtgp.mt with a concern or request. Any processing required or otherwise lawfully justified must be assessed separately and does not arise merely from this clause.
- Under-18 applicants and publication. For an applicant under 18, age, capacity and appropriate parent/guardian arrangements must be checked before identifiable matching information is shared; permission to fight at a later stage is separate. Approval of disclosure to a gym does not authorise a public fighter profile, photograph, advertising or unrelated marketing. Those uses have their own notice, lawful ground and, where applicable, separate approval or consent process. Our Privacy Policy explains the processing and applicable rights; neither this clause nor signature of a participation agreement is blanket privacy or international-transfer consent.
Read our Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.
